Comfy Chic.....My Weekend Wear!

We all look forward to the weekends after working hard all week.  So what do you wear when you have to run an errand or if you wanna go shopping or just hanging out?  Well I like to stay as comfy as possible but I still want to be fashionable and chic!  One of my subscribers asked me to put up a post of my weekend wear, so I decided to do just that!  I am absolutely loving the boyfriend jeans and they can be dressed up or down! Pretty soon I will be putting up a post dedicated to my boyfriend jeans, but this one will be all about the Boyfriend Cardigan and Leggings!!!  I am a huge fan of leggings paired with a pair of riding boots.  You will see a combo of these favorites of mine in this post.  I hope you enjoy!!!  <3 Crys

This first outfit is one of my go to faves for the weekend......here I'm wearing black leggings that I purchased from Macy's last year, White V-neck tee from Old Navy, Red Boyfriend Cardigan from Target, Leopard scarf from TJMaxx, and Cognac riding boots from JustFab.  The only new piece I'm wearing is the Red Boyrfriend Cardigan from Target, which is now on sale for $13.98 (GREAT DEAL!!!)

Later that evening I decided to switch it up because I was going out to lunch so I switched out the leopard scarf and buttoned the cardigan and added a leopard belt!  This just shows how you can style the same pieces just by changing one thing!!!

Thanks for checking me out!!  Leave a comment or any questions below :-)

My Closet Makeover!!!

Greetings Everyone!! This weekend was spent doing something that I absolutely LOVE.....shopping and organizing!!!  The weather is starting to cool down, so I figured it was time to switch out some pieces in my closet and also get rid of things that I haven't worn or no longer want.  The great thing about organizing and doing a little fall closet cleaning is you get to make room for new pieces!!  I must say that I found some FABULOUS deals this weekend.  I frequented a couple of my faves.....Target, JCPenny, Kohls and Old Navy.  I will show you some of the things I found a little later.  But first I just want to show off my newly decorated closet!  I am very proud of what I was able to do with this space.  After seeing the finished product, I was inspired to add a few more things, but I'll get to those later!  I hope you like what I did! Also, I'll have another closet makeover to show you at the end of this week.  I'll be working on that project this weekend and I can't to reveal the new and improved space to you! I will have before AND after shots!! I'm so excited about giving this young lady the closet she deserves!  If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to leave a comment below!  :-)

This is the view from my bedroom.  The top shelf holding the boots, was added by me!
I purchased the materials from Lowe's Home Improvement!
This is a closer look of my shoe storage and also my accessory wall.  I have my scarves and belts conveniently located in one spot.  The hanging accessories were purchased from TJMaxx.
This is the left side of my closet.  Everything is color coordinated, as you can tell.  On the top shelf, I have a few of my favorite handbags!
This is the bottom part of the left side of my closet.  I have my blazers and more shirts here as well as pants and jeans.  I also have my jeans neatly placed on the shelf so that I could free up more hanging space :-)
This is just a closer look at my accessory wall.  I have my necklaces
hanging on the wall with some decorative nails I found at Lowe's.
They were $1.30 for 25 nails! Love that price!
This is just a close up for you :-)
This is the right side of my closet.  I have my bombay chest here.  I decided to decorate with  some of my favorite pieces just to add some Chicness to my closet!

Date Night.......

Every girl LOVES date night!  When I go on a date I try to dress according to what we'll be doing.  While my kids were away at grandma's house, I had the opportunity to have date night every night! It was amazing to say the least! These are a couple of the outfits that I put together.  I'm a firm believer that shoes and accessories can make an outfit!  Check me out! :-)

Chic Couture by Crys.....My Life...My Fashion

Hello Everyone!! I'm Crys and I love all things fashion!!!  I've been reading blogs about fashion for a couple of years now, so I finally decided to have my own!! My sister has been trying to get me to do this for a while now and I've been so hesitant.  I'm actually kind of nervous, just wondering if people will read my blog or even be interested in what I have to say.  I never imagined that I'd actually do this, but like my dad always said, "There's nothing to it but to do it!" So here goes..... My blog will mainly focus on looking chic but on a budget!  But I will also talk about home decor here and there and I will share any organization tips I come up with!  A little bit about me.....I am a mother of 3 lovely children so I am a very budget conscious shopper!  My friends always commend me on my fabulous finds!  I love shopping with coupons because that allows me to add more pieces to my wardrobe without breaking the bank! A lot of the outfits I post will be created from what I already have in my closet.  Whenever I find new things I will be sure to post them for you guys! Oh, and before I forget, I LOVE SHOES!!!! Thank you for going on this journey with me and I hope you all enjoy :-)
